Diana Camarillo

Diana has been in the movement for 12 years. She worked with Project UNCIA of Catholic Charities prior to her current position with the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (OCADSV) as the Sexual Violence Program Coordinator. Her Primary duties are to serve the state and provide technical support to member programs. She participates in the Communities of Color Task Force a statewide work group. The group’s mission is to take on topics that affect marginalized communities that include people of color, immigrants, and LGBTQ. The task force also supports economic justice and human rights advocacy.

Since arriving at OCADSV, Diana has rallied to promote cultural considerations in her training, and in n 2013 she offered the first workshop in Spanish during the annual state conference. In 2014, Diana supported efforts to finalize and roll out a Spanish-language translation of the OCADSV statewide directory of shelters and advocacy services that allows visitors to view lists of programs offering advocacy services in Spanish. Diana has also been a member of ALAS since 2012.
