Message: How can you hit the one you love? How can you be loyal to the one you hurt? How can you ay you love me when you hit me the other night?

I believe you would change. You said you would. You promised that after the first time and said that you were sorry. “It will not happen again,” you said. I hid it from the world. How can you love the one you hurt? The second time was enough. You needed help. I picked up the phone to call the police. You were no where to be found. I left and came back only to find that you could not explain yourself. I left you in the process of a restraining order.

Remember love doesn’t hurt. Once is enough. The abuser loves the control. It is not worth it to wait your whole life for them to change. Once they do it they will not stop.
