Message: I have spent many years creating sculptures and installation concerning intimate violence. I have also worked as an art therapist helping others express their stories through images. In both cases it is important for a viewer of these works to realize how prevalent intimate violence is in our lives and that of our friends. So, I offer two statistics: 1 out of 3 of the women you know have been sexually molested or assaulted before the age of 18 and 1 out of 7 of the men you know have been sexually molested or assaulted before the age of 18. Please remember this as you walk in your daily life.
